Extend your Dine Out Calgary
March 12th, 2010 by Sophy Kors
Dine Out Calgary’s almost over and I want to know what you thought. Hopefully you had a chance to discover a new favourite or rediscover an old one. I know I had a wonderful lunch at Rush, the dessert was as deliciously lemony as I had hoped, and River Café’s maple crème caramel was the perfect finish.
But what about you?
Downtown Calgary has partnered with Swerve to find out your favourite Dine Out Calgary restaurant and their best menu item. Participate and you could win $250 in gift certificates to continue your dining adventures. To enter the random draw, e-mail the name of your favourite restaurant, along with your favourite menu item, to [email protected]. Put “Dine Out” in the subject line. Contest closes at noon on March 31, 2010. Standard Herald contest rules apply.
You can also fill out the Dine Out Calgary survey for a chance to win a gift certificate to one of the amazing Dine Out Calgary restaurants.

My girlfriend and I, after hearing about dineoutcalgary on country 105, visited the website and after careful consideration opted for Escoba Bistro and couldn’t be happier with out decision. From the moment we arrived everything exceeded our expectations………..we were seated by very friendly hostesses and then greeted almost immediately by our server Jason who throughout our visit went above and beyond even what somebody would call impeccable. Our appetizer sampler was great, my girlfriend had the wild pacific salmon and I had the new york striploin and we split our two dessert options. In summation, our visit to Escoba Bistro inspired somebody like me who would very rarely take the time to send a message like this to thank the staff there for our excellent meal and service and reccomend this restaurant to anybody looking for a relaxing night out with outstanding cuisine.
It is impossible to find your Swerve contests. I have attempted to enter the “dine out” contest and other so often without any results??
I’m not sure about the other contests you’ve tried to enter, but to enter this one send an email to [email protected] with “Dine Out” in the subject line and tell them your favourite Dine Out Calgary restaurant and menu item. They won’t send you a confirmation or anything, but they will contact you by email if you win.
I’m glad you had a good Dine Out experience and I’ll pass on your compliments to Escoba.
