Put your wigs on Calgary, because we’re about to party like it’s 1785!
From Monday, October 25th to Saturday, November 13th, Classical Calgary: Mozart in the City is inviting Calgarians and guests to join the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and some of Calgary’s finest restaurants, galleries, theatres and speakers for a grand urban celebration in honour of the 18th century’s biggest rock star, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
For the first time, Tourism Calgary is partnering with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, the Calgary Downtown Association and numerous other local organizations to bring you an unforgettable musical experience in the rich and diverse core of downtown Calgary.
Classical Calgary will showcase the rich cultural diversity of the city, along with its fantastic culinary choices and world-class activities. At some of the city’s top restaurants, you can share some of Mozart’s favorite Austrian dishes with other music lovers. And when the night sets in, make sure you join some of classical music’s biggest party animals at the Opening Night Masquerade, the Murder Mystery at Teatro or the Festival Finale after-party at Centini Restaurant.
