In foodie circles it’s known as food porn. For some people it’s their job. On Twitter it’s fun.
For the 11 days of The Big Taste, Calgary Dining Festival you could win a $50 gift card to one of the participating restaurants. Take a picture of you meal at one of the Big Taste restaurants (unfortunately you can’t use you morning toast with peanut butter), upload it to Twitter and tag it with the #bigtasteyyc hashtag. Every day during the Big Taste (March 4 - 14, 2011) we’ll draw a winner. That means you can enter all eleven days if you’d like, but they have to be different pictures. I want to see all the great food Calgarians are trying for the Big Taste.
Actually taking the picture could be the hardest part of this contest if you forget until after your fork has already demolished it, many a dessert has been missed because of this. Luckily the opera cake from Home Tasting Room (@hometasting) survived long enough for this photo op.
