You are the epitome of downtown style, and you know it… so why not show it?
Each year, Downtown Calgary looks to the shops, streets, nightclubs, offices and restaurants to find men and women who exhibit great personal style.
Our past winners are not models who get all their clothes for free, just the opposite actually. Past winners have included professors, artists, managers, and more.
What we’re looking for are ordinary Calgarians who go the extra mile to become ‘extraordinary’. You don’t have to spend thousands or even hundreds to be a style icon, just someone who flaunts their style the best they can.
To reward Calgary’s most stylish, we will be awarding the icons with a number of prizes from downtown businesses and featuring their smiling faces on our 2012 Back To Style ad campaign.
So don’t hesitate to nominate yourself, the worst thing that could happen is that you become famous. Send us a picture and a little bit about yourself and you could be our next icon! (and remember, personal style reaches beyond fashion, so we want to know where you shop ’til you drop, catch a play/band, and finish the night off with food & cocktails.)
