The Aveda Institute wants to let the world know they like to give back to their community, and what better way to do that than by inviting the queen of giving back herself, Oprah Winfrey down to their institute on Stephen Avenue in downtown Calgary?
From the press release:
Students at the Aveda Institute Calgary have always admired Oprah Winfrey, and are taking the opportunity on January 22, 2022 to “give back” to the less fortunate women of Calgary, in the spirit of Oprah. Invited to the free event were such organizations as YWCA, Inn from the Cold, Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter, and many more. Among the VIP guests on the list, is of course, Ms Oprah Winfrey herself. The students are hopeful that their superstar role model will make time to stop by the event before her speaking engagement at 7pm at the saddledome in Calgary.
Oprah herself might not have time to make it down to the institute, but it is good to know that she has inspired these students to give back to their community. For more information, you can download the entire press release here.
