In case you haven’t heard, the fine folks at CJSW have been programming the Downtown Calgary Stephen Avenue stage each Saturday all summer long. You’ll want to head down this Saturday, July 6th for even more great music to keep your summer happy vibes going on.
The incredible local act, Wayfarer is playing the avenue stage. These guys who have been playing together since 2006, play great rockin’ tunes. You can listen to some of their tunes here but we recommend packing up a picnic for the whole family and setting up camp in Olympic Plaza until the band gets going on Stephen Avenue.
Not only will this Saturday be the best time ever - but every Saturday until the end of summer, expect an eclectic mix of local music as well as national touring acts. Each weekend it is a new musical surprise - just another band to add to your list of summertime discoveries.
