If you’re coming downtown for the Olympic Plaza Canada Day Family Experience, you can park in any of the convenient parkades operated by the Calgary Parking Authority. There will also be a FREE shuttle connecting Fort Calgary, The East Village, Olympic Plaza and Eau Claire/Prince’s Island that will operate through the day. We suggest you park in one of the aforementioned parkades, and take the shuttle to experience everything the Calgary Canada Day Celebration has to offer.
To help you locate a parkade on Canada Day, or any day, try our Interactive Calgary Parking Tool. Input your destination and the tool will use Google Maps to find the closest places to park. Note: our tool will suggest both Calgary Parking Authority lots, parkades and street parking, as well as parking lots and parkades owned by Impark and Vinci, which are NOT a part of the FREE Canada Day promotion. Again, the only parkades that will be FREE of charge on Tuesday, July 1st, 2014 will be downtown parkades owned and operated by the Calgary Parking Authority.
