Downtown Calgary Pop-Up Picnics 2015

From June to September join Downtown Calgary for Pop-Up Picnics.

What are Pop-Up Picnics you ask? A Pop-Up Picnic is a lunch hour (Noon to 1pm) events hosted by Downtown Calgary in various locations around the downtown core. We’ll bring the tables, chairs, entertainment and you bring your lunch and some friends! Each picnic will have a unique theme and be at a different location.

Here are the dates for 2015 (all dates are Wednesdays):

• June 10th @ Bankers Hall Plaza (corner of 9th ave & 3rd street SW)
  • Jazz YYC preview performances
• June 24th @ Bow Valley Square park (6th avenue between 1st & 2nd street SW)
  • Art in the Park featuring live art demonstrations
• July 8th @ Harley Hotchkiss Park (4th street SW, between 6th and 7th avenue SW)
  • English Garden Party
    
• July 22nd Rescheduled to August 12th @ John J Bowlen Green Space (620 7th avenue SW)
  • Circus Picnic
    
• August 5th @ Suncor Energy Centre (on 6th ave between Centre and 1st Street SW)
  • Tropical Carnival Picnic
• August 19th @ Fifth Avenue Place
  • Jazz Age Vintage Picnic
    
• September 2nd @ Barclay Parade (3rd Street & 5th Avenue SW)
  • Honens Concrete Sonata
• September 16th @ Stephen Avenue
  • Beakerhead

All picnics run Noon to 1pm
