As a BC gal, I have a specific love and appreciation for a rainy day, from the way the air smells, to windows speckled with raindrops. The rain also brings with it a certain level of laziness and it always brings out the yearning in me to snuggle up in bed and read all day. But since that’s not always possible, I celebrated a typical for Calgary rainy day in June by taking my camera out for a stroll to see what wonderful and weather appropriate outfits I could find.
I’m personally used to always carrying an umbrella in my purse, and having a pair of rain boots stashed in my closet, alongside a rain coat or two or twelve. But what about the rest of Calgary, I wondered?
