We’re coming close to wrapping up a couple of weekly events, but we still have plenty of things happening in and around downtown! Calgary Pride 2017 is in full swing, more Canadiana with “Uncle Buck” playing at the Downtown Movie Night and much more!
CALGARY PRIDE 2017 - August 25 - September 4, 2021
Whether you are gay, straight or on the fence, Pride is a great time to show your support and have some fun.
With a new home in Prince’s Island Park and more festivities throughout the downtown, there are plenty of opportunities to show your support and your pride August 25 through September 4, 2017.
Calgary Pride exists to promote a very important message – equality and acceptance of Calgary’s LGBTQA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, and Ally) community. Thank God for acronyms, cause that’s a mouthful!
“Our city, free from discrimination against gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation.”
There are a number of great events coming up between August 25-September 4, 2017 to celebrate that diversity! Visit our blog Show your PRIDE downtown! for some of the highlights, or view a full schedule of events happening in downtown and throughout the city at calgarypride.ca.
