15 years after the Calgary Underground Film Festival (CUFF) first launched, Western Canada’s biggest genre festival presents its boldest and most eclectic lineup yet.
“I remember the day we started this festival and our vision was to grow within our means, screen provocative, boundary-pushing independent film, build a solid community, and to really make sure we were creating a festival as fans, for fans,” said Co-Founder & Festival Director Brenda Lieberman.

CLIMB FOR WILDERNESS

Climb for Wilderness 2018 is your chance to climb the Bow, one of Calgary’s most spectacular skyscrapers. Whether you’re a committed climber, looking for a family activity or just a fun Saturday with friends, Calgary’s biggest Earth Day event is for you! Admission starts at $75 for adults and $40 for kids 15 years and under. All proceeds go towards the conservation charity Alberta Wilderness Association and can be raised through fundraising.

The 2018 POW! Parade of Wonders will take place on April 27, 2022 on Stephen Avenue, from 8th Street to Olympic Plaza, starting at 10:30 a.m. Over 2,000 cosplayers are expected to take part alongside Calgary Expo special guests for over 15,000 spectators. Pre-registration is encouraged, and is available now!
