This week is all about the arts. New performances from the Calgary Philharmonic and Alberta Theatre projects are coming to Arts Commons, and the Glenbow Museum is bringing back their Salon Series!

Glenbow’s Salon Series returns! Join us for intimate and insightful conversation while we take a deep dive into this season’s feature exhibitions.
In this iteration, Calgary-raised, Dusseldorf-based Cosmos artist Erik Olson will discuss his diverse painting practice, with subject matter ranging from space and beyond.
$35.00 - refreshments provided, including one drink ticket and complimentary cheese and charcuterie.
DINNER FOR DOORS

Join us for our 5th annual fundraising evening to support the mission and vision of Accessible Housing. Since 2014, Dinner For Doors has raised over $200,000 to help support this critical work. Help us open doors to more homes for people with limited mobility!
This mix and mingle, Roaring Twenties themed event will be at the new Hudson event space, a glamourous, new hot spot. Hudson is conveniently located in downtown Calgary on the sixth floor of the Hudson Bay’s distinctive heritage building. The lively evening with inspired hors d’oeuvres will be created under the artful direction of Executive Chef Ryan O’Flynn of Hudson, Sub Rosa and The Guild.
In 1920’s fashion, guests will spend the evening enjoying delectable hors d’oeuvres and wonderful wine, all in support of Calgarians with limited mobility.

Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra Performance
Gramophone Hall of Fame-inducted, and globally acclaimed pianist Marc-André Hamelin dazzles in Ravel’s deliciously raucous Piano Concerto in G major. Opening with the composer’s enchanting Mother Goose Suite, the concert builds to a triumphant close with Saint-Saëns’ Organ Symphony, resounding fully with playing by celebrated organist Neil Cockburn.
