Art Market Art & Craft Sale has been a part of the Calgary holiday shopping tradition for over 30 years. Held in the Calgary Telus Convention Centre, over 200 of the best Canadian artists come together to present to Calgary the very best of themselves through their art.
You will find everything from pottery to jewellery, photography and painting. You will see sculptures, clothing designers, glass artists, leather works, pet treats, fabric and wool arts, the best artisan food around, and so much more. You are able to meet the artists, talk with them about their works, their inspiration, and some are doing live demonstrations in their booths.
The event has been decked out to create the perfect holiday feel, surrounded by music, decorated trees, a comfy place to have a bite, and on three evenings, a live jazz trio and a cash bar.
In our foyer we have partnered with the Alberta Craft Council, Theatre Calgary, Pals, The Rainbow Society, and the Airdrie Food Bank, wherein one of our artisan potters spends most of the show throwing bowls to donate to the Airdrie Food Bank Empty Bowls Arts Festival.
Admission is $12 per adult and gets you into the show for the entire weekend. Thursday & Friday evenings are two for one from 4 to 9, and if you buy your tickets from out website before November 14th, you will automatically be entered in a draw for a $250 Art Market gift certificate to spend at this year’s show.
